Abstract

It is critical for organizations to identify the factors that can foster a long-term competitive advantage. Therefore, the primary objective of this study was to investigate the impact of dynamic capabilities on sustainable competitive advantage. This study aimed to investigate the relationship by analysing the dimensions of dynamic capabilities, including resource rearrangement capability, acquisition capability, and sensing capability, in conjunction with sustainable competitive advantage. The research design employed a cross-sectional approach. The questionnaire was distributed to faculty members through a process of random selection. The sample size for the study consisted of 160 respondents. Descriptive statistical methods, such as the weighted arithmetic mean and standard deviation, were utilised in the analysis. Analytical statistical methods, including the simple correlation coefficient (Pearson), the simple linear regression equation, (T) test, and the coefficient of determination (R2), were employed to test the research hypotheses. The study’s findings indicate a strong correlation and impact between dynamic capabilities and sustainable competitive advantage. These findings are valuable for researchers and scholars to explore in future investigations.
